The United States government has a obligation take care of the active duty personnel and veterans. Allocation of resources for the military should focus on solely munitions, but should provide the necessary services to ensure the active and retired service men and women are compensated for the sacrifices they made on and off the battlefield. The people of the military made a choice to serve the country to ensure freedom and unalienable rights for the citizens of the United States are protected, the government should return the favor by protecting the benefits and pay deserving of veterans.

A full range of medical, housing, employment, and financial fitness services are needed for the active duty personnel, families of fallen soldiers, veterans and their families. Transition to civilian life serves need to be offered to ensure the service members are prepared to function in society.
